About Me
An aspiring Character TD hoping to become an inspiring Character TD.
I currently reside in face melting Mesa, Arizona with my wife Wendi and my son Ethan. I am Currently employed as a Lead Multimedia Designer at Grand Canyon University by day and an instructor teaching game programming at Collins College by night. Any other time I have is spent rigging and writing tools for my production pipeline or freelance jobs, in the hopes I will be able to have the skills necessary to land my dream job.
Brief History
I knew I wanted to be an Animator ever since I saw Toy Story (me and everyone else). Once in high school my family finally got a computer that could run something other than DOS and I found Blender!(after finding out the cost of 3dSMax…yikes!) Blender was amazing and everything I thought 3D would be, I made tons of images and animations, I even had some work displayed at the Blender booth at SIGGRAPH 2000.
I went on a mission for my church to South Korea, and upon my return found that Maya was kind of the standard to learn so in 2006 I started to attend Collins College and received a bachelor of Arts in Animation degree three years later.
After graduation I was lucky enough to land a job at a local company where I modeled, rigged, and textured characters. It was there I really learned what rigging was and how powerful(and fun) scripting is. Since then, that’s what I love to do and will keep on pursuing my dreams in the animation industry.
Other things I enjoy are music, movies, family time and the great outdoors every now and then.
